HTPC Quiet Air Cooler needed

I'm not sure where to go with this one... Something quiet but really efficient I'd like to keep temps under 35-40C at all times if I can. $150 or less.

35-40c total or delta?

Total. I don't anticipate stressing the Cpu too much.

What case is it going into?
There are some large quite coolers, but case size makes a difference.

Well idle temps with all the top coolers are in that range with fans running below 800rpm so silent for all intent and purpose.
The best dual tower coolers I know of, but there are probably a couple more out there:
Alpenfohn K2 / Deepcool Assassin (same cooler)
Noctua D14
Phanteks TC14PE
Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E and SB-E Extreme (same cooler with different fans)

SB-E has 1x TY-141 & 1x TY-150 fans
SB-E Extreme has 2x TY-143 700-2500rpm fans

SB-E at max rpm cools same as SB-E Extreme at 1300rpm and both are same noise level. SB-E Extreme at max rpm cools 7c better but is 56dBA so getting a little noisy. wink.gif
