It looks as though it's only mobile processors that are compatible.

i swear I remember reading somewhere that all ivy bridge desktop processors have it and only 2700K sandy bridge have it. Guess whoever wrote that had no idea what they were talking about?

You also have to have an Intel wireless adapter.

Oh I see what you're trying to do,

You've got no chance mate, the amount of bandwidth required for that is well above ANY wireless adapter. This is meant for normal video and normal desktop use, not streaming gaming or anything like that.

Sorry

Yes it can be done, check Intel dashboard with WiFi ?yep sure thing.this is a laptop solution so make sure you get the one that respect Widi and dashboard condition then send data to be done whatever you do normally via Ethernet, then do like you would do to stream but on laptop.yes you need your desktop computer to game, plus capture but this will be sent to laptop etc.laptop can do this lol.it won't capture.

I'm pretty sure you're right on this one. I guess my best bet is to just get a 60 ft long HDMI cable. SMH

thank for your input by the way.
