Beats is just a gimmicky feature and is just for marketing. Was not a smart move, IMO. They were losing money bundling Beats headphones with the phones.

Beats is just selling overpriced headphones at a high cost... when compared to Sennheiser, beats can't compare. Still blows my mind on why people buy Beats headphones.

dude. believe me. i know. i bought my beats since they were the "thing" and still is. i keep them. would i buy them after listening to a HD800? hell no. but i couldn't justify giving that much to any headphone, and all the lower priced senheisers were small for my ear.

I love my HTC MyTouch 4g. Got it for free, abused the crap out of it and it keeps on ticking. I just have the issue of random keys not working (screen has a bunch of micro cracks in it all but one is in the keyboard area). Oh, and Wifi refuses to work (sees the network, only gets 1 bar, never connects). Oh, and if I use the flash on it the phone shuts off.

Other than that it's cool. It's rooted and running Jellybean with no issues (except for the occasional music screw up that just needs a rescan). My friend got a SGS2 recently and while I love how fast it is, I hate how big it is (and she wanted the Samsung Note more!).

But like you said we are all entitled to our opinions and you are right about that.

I'm wrong because I can't get the 32GB model, and can't upgrade the 16GB model further? Seems legit.

AFAIK, there's no 32GB North American model. Only 16GB versions, that's an HTC flaw, not a Rogers issue.

You forgot to tell me how wrong I was on the Wifi issues as well. rolleyes.gif

I'll stick with the GS3, you can do as you wish. My opinion is the only one that matters, when it comes to purchasing MY phone. tongue.gif

P.S. Before you go around telling people how "flat out wrong" they are, perhaps you should do your own research first?

Don't even get me started on wifi issues with my Amaze 4g. Since switching to wind mobile with unlimited data I don't even bother using wifi. It would connect, but be very limited and then randomly just disconnects. When I had my Galaxy S all I had to do is touch the toggle, within 2 seconds wifi is up and running. With this phone you will sit there forever while it attempts to connect.

Get your act together HTC, the one series is going to win against the galaxy line the way it is.

^ You guys are all talking about the US variants.

But here in the EU, the GS3 still blows the One X out of the water too (and the US variants tongue.gif).

I've had both in my hand. The displays are REAL nice on both phones. I don't know why PenTile is considered inferior, but I couldn't find a problem with either phone's screen. They were both beautiful. The only three things that put me off the One X were the none removable battery. It's not about being able to carry a spare, it's just about that choice. I'd rather be able to, just in case. And someone mentioned earlier that batteries are covered under warranty? Well, 1, not for battery aging, and 2. Sure I'd like to NOT have to send the whole device away over a battery issue. Next we the storage issue. I have a16GB S3, with a 32GB SD card, plus 48GB free Dropbox. That = win. And finally, the battery life, the battery life on the OneX IS inferior.

Those factors tipped my hand. HTC made a great phone but they made three mistakes. Otherwise the GS3 would not have gotten a look in. As it turns out the GPU and CPU are way better in the GS3 anyway, but they weren't deciding factors for me.

The only reason why Samsung have more profit when it comes to smartphones is because they are a well known name.
Not sure what you've been looking at, but to each his own.

I don't mind One X not having a removable battery. Its charger is compact enough and I'd rather carry it with me than a bunch of batteries that will have to be swapped and recharged. Major annoyance. 32gb space on it is more than enough, I've had a 16gb sd card on my Desire HD and never ran out of space.
I don't think those are the issues. The issues are that you have to pay more to get the same capacity (vs. SGS3 + SD card) or to replace a defective battery because of the Apple-esque closed system.

I agree with ya. The HTC One X is the phone I originally wanted. Eventhough it came out much earlier than the GS3, it still wasn't enticing enough for me to buy it. I remember watching reviews, and seeing the Wifi issues ( before HTC acknowledged there was a problem ), and that was a major turn off.

The removable battery IS a pretty big deal. 1. I like having a spare with me, just in case. 2. I don't want to have to return the whole phone because of an aging battery, which isn't likely happen in the first 2 years under warranty. Plus, HTC doesn't have the best rep when it comes to customer service.

I'll say this again, why couldn't HTC have made the EVO 4G LTE their universal device instead? It makes so much more Sense.

Also, isn't it strange that the GS3 is clocked 100 MHZ lower, but it outperforms the HOX? Plus it's also smoother, perhaps it's due to the extra RAM, or Samsung has made some great optimizations.

This is a pretty un-biased review.

There you go troll, I was looking at it when I posted it. Just because you can't get one doesn't mean it's a flaw. You weren't wrong on the wifi. You say there is no such thing as a 32GB model. I just linked you one. So maybe you should do your research. Your logic is the only thing that's flawed, ignnoooorreeddddd.

You were so busy trying to argue over the internet like a cool guy you couldn't just Google it.
