New Mouse

Thread Starter
Evening, so I already put up a post today about a keyboard but I didn't think it was appropriate to ask about a mouse under the keyboard section so I will post it here. I got a Logitech m500 gaming mouse, it's getting old had it for over 2 years or so now. I really want to upgrade im looking for a fair priced mouse for gaming specifically GW2 and CS:GO I am looking into the Razer Naga Molten right now but i'm not sure about that one, any recommendations, opinions options are welcome.

Thank you for your time thumbsupsmiley.png

the razer naga feels a bit strange for FPS. i think maybe a G400 or something like that what is your price range?

^... What is comfortable to you should be priority one. Having said that here is my suggestion:

I've owned many Logitech over the years (MX518, G7, G9, and another I can't remember the model), they have a good feel to them, nothing special though. They were all junk! Every single one of them produced connection issues than would cause the mouse to cut out periodically. This is a common problem. Now, let's say I had nothing but perfect mice from them... My new mouse still beats them all hands down in comfort, glide, button response, grip (texture), and overall responsiveness - The Razer Deathadder 3.5G!

I highly recommend this mouse... Take a gander at it here:

Maybe it was your computer and not the mouse that caused the disconnects.... ?

@OP Logitech mice are fine and very rarely cause the problems that Rmerwede mentioned (unless you buy one with a braided cable and leave it out in the sun headscratch.gif)
If you've had a m500 for this long then either a G400 or G500 is a good buy. G500 is the same as G400 except it has custom DPI profiles, changeable weights and 9 buttons (IIRC).
Depends on your local price between the two and whether you can justify the extra $$ for the features.

I personally wouldent get a Razer mouse, they feel rather flimsy with their plastic builds. I like my mice heavy and with a solid feel thumb.gif

No. The mice had problems on 3 different PC's and the problems stopped immediately after I got the Deathadder. Believe me, I have tried every fix under the sun. Just google "Logitech cutting in and out", and you will see it is a wide spread problem. But, gratz on being lucky with your mice.
