There was the time a buddy and I who were the only 2 in charge of loss managment for a prepaid card compony, as well as lost and stolen and fraud, during graveyard hours. Basically we got bored and had nothing but p4 HT PCs with integrated graphics, and got quake 2 SEAMLESSLY to work, then we tried starcraft, age of empires, quake 3, CS 1.6 and played using the company lan.

The article is really about crappy people, but instead gets the standard Apple sucks spin, when this stuff happens everywhere.

I'm normally one of the first to bash Apple, but this kind of stuff is bound to eventually happen at most big companies.

One of my good friends used to work at a FedEx and he'd always tell horrible stories about workers playing catch with boxes, especially ones marked "Fragile." And one time someone broke some stuff and it sounded like broken glass in the box and the manager just told them to ship it like that and pretend you never saw it.

I'm a little surprised at what seems to be a lack of product stock monitoring at the company. Almost every retail company I've ever heard of tracks how much product each store is using vs. sales/support/etc.

Believe it or not, one of the most strict retail stores I've seen was when I worked at GNC for a hot minute. Every night and morning we had to physically count each item on the store's shelves, as well as the register. If something didn't add up, we were in trouble...

Probably the worst job I've ever had.

Its very easy to just tell a person that ur phone is not covered with warranty and then right the papers like u gave him a new phone ad keep it for yourself.
