why does it say disabled when its enabled?
Because the application is wrong. Clearly it's programmed poorly.

FWIW Speccy says my rig has Crossfire disabled as well, even though it isn't.

I'm running this game on my sig rig and I see 100% usage on both GPUs. Scaling seems pretty good and the game runs very smoothly. Also, I'm running catalyst 12.8 along with 12.7 Cap 3 Profiles. I average about 60 fps at 1680x1050 with everything on high except shadows and post-processing both of which are set at medium.

The only real issue I'm having is when I open the world map and close it, frame rates drop by about 20, as if one of the cards gets disabled. I have to alt-tab out and back in for the frame rate to go back up again.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Exact same with me, if I open main map my fps goes from 60 to 30 - I play with Vsync. I have the 6990 card and am preferring the 12.6 drivers at the mo.
I have to go to windows and then back in game for the fps to go back up.

Another thing to note, I have a much smoother game-play with super-sampling over native....

Seems to be some sort of memory leak perhaps, also (if that still exists), the game play seems to degrade over long periods of gaming, or perhaps when fast traveling around? who knows.... But again, desktop > back to game and it fix's it again.

Soon be a fix I'm sure...

You mean over the in-game FXAA?

Sorry, the in-game options. FXAA on and render sampling on supersample. Seemed to make it smoother for me.

Im having the same issue, alt+tab will temporarily bring my FPS back up. With crossfire 7950s im not getting very good performance. Using 12.8 12.7 cap3
