Hi all,

I bought an HP Envy 4 Ultrabook the other day and I am having some problems with it....

http://shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/products/Laptops/HP-ENVY/A9G89AV?HP-ENVY-Sleekbook-4t-1000

It comes with a "32GB SSD cache" and a 500GB Hitachi HDD.

I am trying to format and install Windows 8. When I load the installation up from boot, I can't find any disk partitions to install Windows on. It's blank. When I boot up in Windows, there are a bagillion different partitions set up, but I can't seem to find the 32GB disk anywhere.

I opened up the laptop and found the following. There is a 500GB drive.. good old regular HDD. Also, there is a CHIP that goes directly into the motherboard with a label that says "SSD on it"

Anyone know how this works?? Any help appreciated. Thanks!
