Laptop for streaming

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I'm planning on buying a laptop for various reasons. One of them mainly being college. With that being said, I decided to also look at this as an opportunity to do a 2pc setup for my streaming.

This is where you use a pc for gaming and then do video encoding on another computer to alleviate all the performance decreases from the main computer.

My question is does anyone recommend a decently priced laptop ~$500-$700 with a good processor able to handle 720p60fps streaming / video encoding?

thanks

Anything with at least a first generation i7 can handle that task without an issue. The problem is finding a webcam that's built into one that'll do more than 30 FPS at 720p, which none exist with those specs.

Eurocom but not at that price.a HD 4000 gpu in Intel might.the trouble is they use frap or xsplit(not exactly something any in the live bus would use.game streaming is relatively young.ton of live software exist(IIS)but
Only gpgpu solution are great other work but are too resource demanding fps and nitrate need to be set very low (in the 360 p range bitrate).i would stream in interlacced 720 if such thing exist.yes I cost some resource but it is the lesser evil
