Need guidance, new in watercooling

Thread Starter
Hi, I am planning to make my first water cooling rig, so far I am interested in buying EK kit 360
I would also like to water cool my GTX 670 asus DirectCU, meaning i have to order the waterblock and backplate (foor look tongue.gif) for such VGA
However since I am planning to watercool my vga, I am thingking to put another radiator therefore I decided to use NZXT switch 810 where I can put a 240 rad at the bottom
What confuse me is the path of the water to flow, what I have in mind is

Reservoir - pump - rad 240 - VGA - rad 360 (top) - CPU - reservoir - etc

is that a good flow?
and my biggest concern is that I wont have any space to put the pump since the bottom surface is taken to put the rad 240,
can someone enlighten me here? do I have to put the 240 rad sticking to the front fan vertically?
I prefer to put it horizontally at the bottom though ...

loop order does not matter as long as you have res > pump thumb.gif
If you wanted a recommendation on GPU block brands, I have used koolance's VID series blocks and have been very impressed.
you can actually buy a mount for the pump on the bottom rad (note that the switch 810 can actually fit a 280 or a 240 down there)
here's a link to a radiator pump bracket
http://www.dangerden.com/store/z2-120mm-bracket_pump-and-universal-mount-un-designs.html

nice choice with the switch 810 by the way, I'm looking to buy one soon for my first build's "redux" thumb.gif

good suggestion for the pump mount but it seems that its out of stock frown.gif and I dont know if they even ship to my country
Ill see how i goes once all the components come and put together, last option would be to stick the 240 rad vertically at the front fan

There's an exception. Some people run a completely filled res just for the looks and have another res or a t-line somewhere else in the loop.
In that case it's ok to put the filled res anywhere they want because there is no pressure loss. But it's important that no air gets in there.
