Hello!

I was thinking of buying 2 GTX 670 and as a PSU I had My mind focused on this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371056

Will it be able to supply the whole computer even if I OC My GTX:s

Processor is:Intel Core i5-3570K
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LX - ATX / Z77
Have 2 HDD: One WD Caviar Green 1TB and one Seagate 320GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB

Or should I go with more Watts, like a Fractal Design R2 Newton 800W? http://www.fractal-design.com/?view=product&prod=28

You shouldn't have an issue with the Antec but if you'd like you could get the Fractal.

I have a 3770K and GTX680 SLi which are all overclocked as well as a load of HDDs and two 18W pumps running fine on my 550W.

Any of these would also do fine:

I'd just go for the Green 630, or if you want modular (which that Antec isn't) the HIVE 650. They're just as good of units as that Antec is, just not QUITE as efficient. The Antec is a fine unit, but so are the Rosewills. You don't NEED 80+ Platinum to have a good unit, and there's no reason to spend double the cost to get one if you ask me.

And yes, a 600-650w PSU is plenty for your planned build.

EDIT:
doh.gif You probably wanted native connections for your GPU's, so you need 4x 6pin connections. The Antec you picked does NOT have that many, it only has 2 so you will need molex adapters. Get the Capstone then at $99. It's also modular as well, which is a nice added bonus, and its $20 less.

Couldn´t find any Rosewill in any Swedish store, they have have a very limited selection of brands, in all the internet stores, so a follow up question; Is there any backsides like power losses if I use a Molex adapter? (already have 2 so that is no problem atm)

You linked newegg so I assumed you were in the US. doh.gif

Here, pick the cheapest (or ANY) unit in the 600-699w range off this list:
http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies

And no, you're fine to run molex adapters. It's just a little neater to not use them.

3770K and GTX 680 SLI on 550W? That doesn't seem right to me.

TDP for GPU/CPU: 190W x 2 + 95 W = 475 W * 1.2 (overclock) = 570W which exceeds 550W without factoring in anything else.

His CPU is actually 77w TDP, not 95w. And you're also not realizing that he's on a Super Flower unit. That unit is actually probably closer to a 650-700w unit in reality, its just amazing.

Also, TDP doesn't mean its going to draw that much all the time. I doubt that his SLI is scaling absolutely PERFECTLY so that both cards are drawing 190w each. Even Crossfire doesn't scale that well, and Crossfire is known to have better scaling. When you add a second, third, and fourth GPU..... they draw less and less power due to the poor scaling. Card 1 might draw say 200w full load, then when you add in Card 2, the two cards combined might only draw 350w. Just an example. And this is also assuming 100% load across each and EVERY component, which isn't a reality in most situations.

The moral of the story is, buy a decent PSU and you won't have to worry in the future.

The fan in my PSU never comes on day to day and when Folding on both cards and my CPU it comes on after a while then turns off again after 30 seconds, after 5 minutes it comes on again and turns off after 30 seconds, ect.

Just get something from the 600-699w section in the thread that pioneerisloud posted. They're all good.

The Earthwatts Platinum are nothing special in any way, except that they have high efficiency (which in general use really doesn't make that much difference).

I'd say XFX ProSeries Core 650W. Price is good relative to other options at 695 SEK, a pretty good enthusiast-level build from Seasonic:
http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=657686

It has all the connectors natively for the graphics cards.
