I was secretly hoping for a strong case for something other than the g400, but it seems to be the #1 choice no matter what.
@viowastaken: Been there, done that. But when I pay $100+ for a mouse, buying new skates, replacement parts + voiding warranty or waiting a month for the RMA process to complete all the while lacking a proper mouse is not something I want to make a habit of. (Talking about Razer specifically, had to call them way too early way too often and it always took an eternity to get something NOT done.)
@Domino: Fingertip, it is in the first post.
@tahayassen: If the Spawn VOIP problem persist it is a no go considering I use Vent / TS a lot. Many of those other mice are way over my budget, in fact the Deathadder costs ~$60 here which is the most I am willing to spend ATM. I am aware of the G400 cord issues, but I can replace it and their customer service is very helpful so not too worried there. Mouse sensor seems to be the overriding factor in your recommendations. And while I agree it is very important, I am not a pro gamer and so trust that most mice that get a lot of attention on these forums are good enough for my purposes. Shoot
. The links were very helpful, especially the one about the MS Comfort, so thank you!
@tehort: Isn't it length rather than width that makes fingertip impossible? I mean if I can hold a basketball palm down pretty sure I can handle a wide mouse too. But if it is not long enough to touch the back of my palm then every direction is 100% on the fingers, forcing me into a claw grip essentially. Or am I mistaken?
@splinterize: No. Way.
I am done with that company, they got their second and even third shot already.
