As far as I know this is the only reliable place to get a ton. It's a good idea if you've stocked up some armor and weapons that require it, or plan to use Crystal Weopons the rest of the game (they can only be repaired through an upgrade).

Also the content is pretty amazing for DLC, has some nice drops, and really expands on some of the best stuff in the game (Sif & Artorias).

Just be careful about when you access it, as it is hard in comparison to most bosses in the game, and there really is no over leveling it.

After you defeat Seath, you can use the bonfire in the crystal cave to farm twinking titanites from man-eater shells. It's faster than farming stone guardians, because the shells are much closer to each other.

He does but they cost 8k souls each. I've never been desperate enough to buy any from him. :p

so i am doing my round in darkroot garden just in the main stone knight area, with strong 2h attack with black knight sword +2 they give me 720 instead of 600 souls per stone knight and 121 vs 100 souls for those tree monsters. so aproximately 4484souls per run

so i am like 273 runs away from
SL92+Stone Set + Eagle Shield + BKS +HR 40vit 40end 32str 18dex 1547907souls (1325hp, 49.5% weight limit)

hmm as i am using stone set and am barely trying to get to <50% the ring is useless to me i guess smile.gif

The Dark Wood Grain Ring changes the player's roll animation to a flip, granting more invulnerability frames than the fast roll. The ring's ability only activates when the player has 25% or less equip burden.

Before Patch 1.06, the Dark Wood Grain Ring granted the flip as long as equip burden was below 50%, rather than 25%.

but thanks anyway smile.gif

Sometimes the best way to stay alive is to just not get hit. Wearing heavy armor isn't always the best choice.

yeah thats why i plan like 60endurance, when i am like 130 smile.gif BI set + Havel shield + BKS
why is black knight halberd so bad against stone knights? its cause its 0 and my BKS is +2? will need more twinkling titanites to get both weapons equal, so i can test it out. right now 1 heavy 2h attack with BKS+2 takes down stone knights, doing same with BKH 0 needs 2 attacks

i am 54 and have 31 endurance and at 63 i will have 40 endurance with 32str and 18dex, then i will up my vitality to 30-40

best

It might be because the halberd does slashing damage. Test them again on the blight town barbarians.

also is BKGS better than BKS? BKS seems to be kinda slowish so i guess BKGS will be even more slow.
people rave about BK swords to be super, so which one is the one people mean the most? BKS or BKGS?

thank you
