I think modders will make a great effort to get around this and bump the textures as well.

Ok, i have gone back and tweaked everything and i can finally say i am very very happy. While not perfect, the game plays and feels amazing. I tried the game out in 3D and IT IS AMAZING, i dont know how but this game looks STUNNING in 3D, no ghosting no problems period, you have not experienced this game till you play it in 3D and have that dragon fly over your head and scare the crud out of you. I still feel the mouse is a little twitchy and i wish i could remove the damn 30FPS cap but other than that its amazing. Im about 5 hours in and love it death.

Mouse is more then a little twitchy I would say xD. It just jumps around, nothing smooth about it at all :l.

Other then that, everything seems good after the res fix.

Grrr, I was going to hold off purchasing this for a little while, so issues could get addressed (or to see if they did get addressed). The above comments have me convinced to just buy it now though smile.gif, such an awesome game. Demons souls and dark souls are in my top 5 games of the last 5 years, and top 10 favorite of all time.

the worst thing about this game are the controls on mouse/kb... not really playable,
luckily I remembered I had my old Xbox 1 controller lost in some box, using the (unofficial) XBCD drivers it worked just fine, even tough it's not Xinput but DirectInput (I think) it recognized as a standard controller, with all the buttons working! problem solved smile.gif

now about performance, at the standard resolution my HD5750 can handle it just fine, actually GPU usage stays at around 30% or less, vram usage at around 200-250 (just like a PS3 game is suppose to do I guess) and CPU usage around 25% or less (the game is basically made for a single core CPU?),
apart from that, seems like a fun game, but I need to play more before saying anything else.

Yeah the m/kb controls are a hassle to get working properly. I set my mouse down to the lowest DPI setting and ingame camera movement to 7 and it's considerably better. Furthermore, nearly every pre-configured key was remapped to suit me better. The only thing I see as lacking are the onscreen tips ie. Y to toggle, X to use, Rt to rotate (in the character creation)... That would be a great patch, Durante's fix for the resolution really made the game look a lot better, and the fix can only get better by each passing day.
