Yup. Going to try dead angling with my strength build and the MSGS in PvP. If that doesn't work I'm just going to see how many new games I can go through with the build while pouring points into it. Should be good with PvE though since it's paired with Faith.

Hmmm. So Dark Souls seems to get insanely easy after your first playthrough. Crazy learning curve.

Anywho, I've been depending on a ton of summons at this point since my uchigatana does no where near as much damage as my strength weapons (so boss fights basically become insanely long fights of me just slowly lowering their health, don't have patience for that). Still, the bleed deals a crazy amount of damage.

Also I've been summoning since I've been clearing area's insanely fast thus remaining in human form the majority of the time. Which means being open to invasions. And since I want to fight all the black phantoms killing myself isn't an option.

So from a PvE standpoint, I like strength.

Take back what I said, once you upgrade the uchigatana some more and mix it with higher dex the scaling kicks in and does a good amount of damage. And the bleed damage becomes absolutely insane. Was just fighting the stray demon and every time bleed kicked in he lost a huge chunk of health.

Yeah bleed helps a lot on bosses.

You may want to pick up the Iato from blighttown and try that out too.

Aight. Will grab it when I get around to it. Haven't entered Blighttown from the front yet since I just up going through the Valley of the Drakes. Way faster.

Also just quickly ran through New Londo Ruins so I could get my Uchi to +15 and farm some chunks.

I'm still struggling to get used to this combat. Got past the crypt demon, flew the crow, got to that guy sitting by the bonfire, went down the stairs, fought two skeletons, died, repeat.

Am I that bad at the game that I can't kill them?Tried a warrior and a pyromancer and still no luck. I'm ashamed.

Oh, you're just going the wrong way. I mean, you can tackle it any way you want but the developers definitely designed it so you playthrough the area's in a certain order. Go up the stairs from the bonfire and it'll take you to Undead Burg.

And spoilers below, lol.

Anywho, looks like Solaire's questline got screwed up even though I did every step right. Hit up the shortcut and got the sunlight maggot but he's still chilling at the altar and not appearing in the shortcut. Also his soul sign by the fog door isn't appearing. Think I'll just go to the Kiln and not bother finishing this questline (unless his soul sign magically appears there).

Oh, and did I mention that every aspect of this game is depressing once you learn more of the lore. I mean, just in the screenshots below you deal with Ceaseless Discharge, who is the Witch of Izaliths son, that got screwed up by the Bed of Chaos like the others. His face is a direct reflection of his emotion as he's been watching over his dead sister the whole time.

And Kirk, while constantly invading, is actually doing it with good intentions as all the humanity he's obtaining he gives to Quelaag's Sister. This is shown by his body appearing near her.

The Sunlight Maggot gives Solaire the false sense of finally finding his sun even though it actually consumes him. If you obtain it yourself by going through the shorcut he is thrown into a state of depression as reality starts to set in on him. But when you summon him a final time you complete the last step in him obtaining his goal as he finally finds his sun, which just so happens to be you being consumed by the fire. Thus it's him watching his closest friend die.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
