Is that enough proof for you to realize MSE is popular on OCN because of fanboying and not because it does a better job protecting you from a virus? If you go back far enough MSE was scoring right up there with Avast/Avira/AVG but then it started falling behind.

point taken, avg finds more
however also reports more false positives and removes less.. from the above pic.

they also have norton and mcafee rated higher for security than avg.. making me think that these people might not be the best to choose for reliable data.
what i would much rather see is a listing of how many items they have listed in their database that are actual real issues.

Avast for me, but honestly I havnt had a virus in 5+ years.

about the same for time frame. the only time i have gotten a virus is when i clicked on something, then said; "omg i'm dumb".
