Should i keep trusting this PSU?

The PSU on my main rig (Antec TruePower New 750w) had a fan failure which made it overheat like mad. I noticed since it seems all my USB stuff got fried, i'm assuming with a +5v spike due to the heat, thankfully nothing else got dead. I replaced the fan with a spare one, and while everything works like it should even on BOINC-level operation, i do not know if i should keep trusting that PSU or get another.

Why not RMA it? That would be my choice, especially if it was damaged... Unless of course you voided your warranty by breaking the sticker when you replaced the fan smile.gif

I don't have any kind of receipt as i bought it used off the marketplace, i don't think the warranty is international (i'm not in the US), and yes, i voided the warranty when replacing the fan. Else i would've RMA'd without a second thought. This PSU is rock solid and i've had no complaints, until the fan suddenly decided to play dead. Considering i bought used and lasted a year of tropical abuse, i would buy another Antec PSU (but now i'd get a gold-rated PSU smile.gif)

For the moment i'm using my HTPC's PSU which is almost it's twin (Corsair TX750v2), but i loved that blue light that came below my case. Plus, besides that power spike, all other USB devices and other stuff is working as it should, and the PSU is still alive. But i'm not sure if i should trust it in long term, consuidering i run BOINC/F@H and such.
