IPS Gaming monitor

Thread Starter
Hello guys
Are there any good IPS gaming monitors out yet?
I had my eye on the Dell u2711 and it looked very pleasing untill I saw the input lag being like 18ms or even greater.
My game list consists of Skyrim, Battlefield 3, League of legends, hitman absolution, dark souls and more.
What do you think about this monitor?
If you know a better one do tell me, preferably not a Korean monitor I don't want to take chances in dead pixels on arrival.
Thanks in advance!

My IPS LG does fine with gaming, and for some reason it didn't, they have a button for that, smile.gif .

Buy a perfect pixel Korean monitor from a reputable seller. That should do it.

The monitor I listed has 18ms or so input lag. Is this noticable when gaming?
Also the AG coating is a problem for most people.

Don't get a wide gamut monitor. The U2711 is wide gamut. The HP ZR2740w is an alternative worth considering if you want a brand name monitor with a good warranty.
