Motherboard: Rampage III Black Edition
CPU: i7 960 @ 3.2Ghz
RAM: Corsair Dominator GT 6GB Triple Channel DDR3 2000Mhz
GPU: Evga GTX 580 SC 1.5GB
CPU Cooler: Corsar H80


Hello, I'd like some help OC'ing the 960. If someone could provide me some stable settings for 4.2Ghz, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance. smile.gif
Also, how can I overclock my GPU?

i forget completely what clock's i had on my 960 sorry cant help you there. but for overclocking your GPU download and install MSI afterburner and its just trial and error until you find a good stable clock

I gave you my settings.

These are Opt33's (4.4 ghz?):

23 multi, BCLK 192, mem multi 8x, uncore 17x. vcore 1.38v bios (1.34v load), LLC on, 1.34 v qpi/vtt, DRAM volts 1.64v. Rest volts at stock/auto

Hey I was able to get stable on my i7 950 which is slightly less base clock than the i7 960 with this

200 x 21 = 4.2ghz
qpi 36x
uncore 18x

ram set to 1600mhz but you i think you'll want higher.
set the ram to standard in the bios instead of turbo until you get you're overclock dialed in

vcore was 1.37
qpi/vtt 1.37
dram voltage 1.66
