Help me choose between these 670s please.

670 FTW

Gigabyte 670 OC
Gigabyte 670 OC 4GB

Zotac 670 AMP!

I'm leaning towards the AMP!, as it's orange and I'm doing an orange/black build.
But I don't see it having much more OCing headroom. The FTW seems best for that.

But I'm curious if I need more the 2GB VRAM.

Only using one 1080p monitor.

You can rule out the 4GB if you're only using one display. 4GB is for when you want to run 2 cards in a 3-display surround gaming. It will not affect performance.

You can also rule out the FTW if you favor low-noise, the blower fan is mindbogglingly loud.

That leaves the Gigabyte OC and Zotac.
The Gigabyte model uses 3 fans which are slighty slower then other 2-fan model, making it less noisy. Overall it also cools better.
Plus for some reason the AMP cost $50 more than the Gigabyte model even with 1 less fan? Something feels odd in that.

Do you favor monstrous overclocking and low noise? If yes: get the Gygabyte model.

imo, the difference in in-game performance is insignificant versus the enjoyment you'll get from your clean matching orange/black build.

Wasnt the ASUS the best of them? Supposed to be as fast as a 680 out of the box?

In your scenario I'd probably get the AMP as well, since I'm big about matching builds, unless you plan on watercooling down the road. In that case I'd recommend a reference model.
