Strange 7zip Error *SOLVED*

I've been using this software for YEARS for storage compression and I recently did a format and now I get a error when using it, error is "The system cannot find the file specified, c:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7zg.exe.

The issue is I installed the x64 version as I have a x64 system, this software appears to be installing in the wrong location. When I install the x86 version as well it works fine but no where does it say I need both for it to work properly and I don't recall having both previously. Any advice? Thanks.

What are the steps to reproduce the error?

1) Are you trying to extract an archive from the context menu? i.e Right click on .7z file, 7Zip -> Extract files to ...
or Are you trying to open an archive by double clicking on it?
or Are you trying to open 7zip from the start menu?

You could try opening the x64 version, going to Tools > Options and re-associating all of the file extensions. (uncheck and apply, recheck and apply) and doing the same with the context menu on the 7-zip tab to see if it resolves the problem. The only reason I could see any error like this happening is if the x86 version had been installed previously and the subsequently removed but without more information it is hard to tell.
