1.376V is pretty high for an Intel chip. The H100 is good, but it's nothing compared to a real loop. What thermal paste are you using?

seems just about right, I mean you got almost 4.8Ghz of overclock. closed loops doesn't really perform that much better compared to high end air cooling but it does give you a good performance. I just don't like it personally coz of the price for its performance, rather go custom loop.

but as far as your temps is concern its just right. try running prime for an hour or two then post up the temps, 20minute prime 95 run doesn't tell as much compared to running it for a full hour or two as some FTT tests around 30-40minute mark can draw more heat than the first tests run by prime95.

as5 has a curing time of like 200 hours so it will drop 3-5 degrees once its done curing. I can tell you that for instant results get some phobya hegrease and make sure you apply a very small amount of whatever you use. too much is just as bad as too little

Get some better paste, there are so many newer TiM's now compared to the old AS5, and alot of these newer ones have very little to no curing time. biggrin.gif

for me I went PK-1, well the difference between HeGrease and PK-1 are very minimal but the reason why I went PK-1 is for the money you get more with PK-1 compared to HeGrease for about same price xD thats just me xD

Trust me on this, AS-5 is just Fine, you put a thin layer on, Prime it for 24 Hours, forget about it. I speak from Experience. A 1-2C decrease for harder to find locally and more expensive TIM is frankly not worth it. STAY AWAY FROM IC-7 btw. Trust me wink.gif

Yeah your temps seem fine, a tad high for Water cooling, but i will agree, Custom loops are the best to use....Followed by LN2 thumb.gif
