Are you guys ever thinking of a case line that is customizable.

Like the caselabs?

Or at least sell customized parts.

Such as a midplate for 800d That has 2 140mm fan space

Or a front panel that has fans.

Or a window panel with a single 140mm fan space etc...

800d was just an example. I know this cant be done with it but maybe the future cases?

Gear mentioned in this thread:

Not really. I mean I can't talk about future stuff that may or may not happen, but I'll leave that stuff to Case Labs, MurderBox, Mountain Mods, MNPC, etc. It's just not worth our time to look at something that we'll only sell 50 units a month or whatever. Assuming we have some limit to our resources, I'd rather throw all those resources at being the #1 case manufacturer worldwide.

I won't completely ignore it (for example the 900D has tons of things that people suggested we do to the 800D to make it better - and some stuff that we saw people modding into it from forums) but it's not going to be a major focus anytime soon, I don't think.

Hmm, kinda hoping for a few more fan releases from them. Would love to see AF 80mm/92mm (Especially thin 15mm versions) and SP140 fans. But those are probably a smaller market, and to my knowledge none of their cases use smaller fans.

I'm up at the photo shoot today, this is a T3 sample, so panel gaps are off a bit and the front is kind of smudgy, but this gives you a good idea.

Merry Christmas.
More details next month.

Thanks, looks good. Looks like a mix between the Obsidian and Graphite series.

The last couple of years, Corsair has announced multiple cases at CES.

Last year we announced 300R and 550D. But you have to remember we're more than just cases. Memory, PSUs, Flash Drives, SSDs, Keyboards, Mice, Headsets, Speakers, CPU coolers... basically everything that's not a motherboard, video card, or CPU, you can buy a Corsair version. (Aside from corner cases like sound cards or whatever).

The 900D is the big case (hah) at CES this year, but we have a lot of stuff in the pipeline at varying stages of completion. Some stuff a month or two behind 900D, some stuff a year or more behind it.

For those expecting a 600T successor at CES, I hate to disappoint you. The 800D was announced in August of 2009, its replacement will show up about 3-3.5 years later. The 600T was announced in August of 2010, a full year behind the 800D. And it's still selling very well. I wouldn't hold my breath for a replacement anytime soon.

Wait, are we talking about the 900d here?
