That's exactly my point... The fact that you cannot get a Caselabs case at Micro Center or Fry's is a good thing. For us water coolers, having a case custom tailored to our needs is worth its weight in gold (well, maybe not gold, but at least copper). If you are an air cooling enthusiast, I am sure you would understand should someone design a case specific to your needs.
The problem lies in trying to cater to the enthusiast market and the regular consumer market, because as we saw with the 800D, one will suffer.
Why would anyone spend custom case money on a "appeal to the average" case? It is beyond my comprehension. I understand brand loyalty, as I will always drive BMWs. They are not only the absolute best in their market Share (pshh Mercedes + Audi), the cars have actually saved my life.
That doesn't mean that I am going to buy a model that I don't like, and that is what differentiates brand loyalty from blind loyalt
