You can get into a mountain mods for the same money and fit 5x the rads
Or case labs sm5 or sm8 far better then corsair or cooler master could ever dream to pull off cause those cases are designed by people like us for us

$350 is not even a lot of money when most of us spend thousands on are builds and i find this case very impressive.

For some 1 looking for a stylish case, solid build quality and tons of config options then this should be the case for them.

Caselab makes amazing stuff but they also get very expensive in a hurry, and most average consumers that want to move on to something high end wont want to pay that premium.

And you do have a clear side option for your Cosmos 2 that is kick ass IMO -

2nd after making the 350$ mistake on the cosmos 2 I'm just angry in general now when I see a case priced so close to case labs or mountain mods.

3d the latest rads from monsta are 86mm thick and I'd like to see it being able to fit atleast in push config.

4th I'm not a fan of yes u can put a skinny 480 here in p/p and a avg 360 there in push
Along with a random 240 120 or 140
I want to see duel thick 480 support.

As an owner of 2 Switch 810's, one of which with a custom pedestal base, there is no way that they could do this case for $180. Even if they went with plastic and steel, like the 810, in order to get that much room, it took me another $100+ for a custom pedestal for my Switch 810, which is about the same amount of room that the 900D has down below. So now you are really looking at $280.

Also, the Switch 810 has a fair amount of plastic (which I don't mind, and in some cases, prefer, because you can get colors), where as the 900D is mainly thick aluminum ... which flat out costs more.

For $350, the 900D is an AWESOME deal. I may pick one up later this summer on a future build. To compare it to another case made of the same quality and materials, you would have to really compare it to my ABS Canyon 965 ... which I had to mod the heck out of (ie custom window) and doesn't hold nearly as much water cooling gear as the 900D ... and that case, which was also made of aircraft grade aluminum, was $599.

I love my ABS Canyon 965, but at $599, it was a beast of a price tag. The 900D by way of comparison is a STEAL at $350. And yes, I do love my Switch 810's too, but they are "Apples and Oranges" different cases.

Case labs, when you total up all the options are still much more expensive than the 900D.

You can put ONE Monsta 480 in "push/pull" in the 900D ... down in the bottom.

Some of us have been chewing the numbers, and it looks like you can put the following combos in this case:

45mm thick 480 radiator in "push/pull" up top and a Monsta 480 down below in "push/pull"
45mm thick 480 radiator in "push/pull" up top and an RX480 and RX240 down below, both in "push/pull" (MAYBE, 85% sure.)
45mm thick 480 radiator in "push/pull" up top and an RS480 (35mm) and RS240 (35mm) down below, both in "push/pull" (DEFINITELY)

That doesn't even take into account any sort of 240 or such in the middle area up front.

Again, George has to answer some specific questions before this can be confirmed.

Dual RX480's (60mm) in "push/pull" I can understand ... heck, I have 3 RX360's in "push/pull" on my main rig now, but that is in an external case ... but yeah, 2 Monsta 480's in "push/pull" is way overkill ... even for me, who is into serious overkill.

Just by looking at these preliminary shots, i think the 900D edges out the Cosmos II.
Would it be more beneficial to flip the rear fan and use it as an extra intake to help feed the top rad? I'm concerned the lower 480 rad will steal too much fresh air from the front 120s.

Your not going to fit a 480 86mm monsta in push/pull in that case unless u take out the PSU.

350$ is not a good deal Other company's offer better for 350$

I Also did not say for this case to be 179$ like the 810 i said 249$...

Unless your a die hard Corsair case fan Boy or do not know any better there are better options in the 350$ price range then this case.

And that is the whole point. And my Opinion and knowing the other options.

Maybe so but thats what i want.. A show piece i plan on doing 4 Monsta 86mm 480s in push pull..
But my TH10 can do up to 12 of them but im only doing 4 for now.. may add the other 8 later on.

I went from a 650D to a Switch 810. The Corsair cases are just far better quality of materials. The 810 has tons of plastic, and although I really love the case, some parts of it are just plain cheap. I've broken plastic tabs, and a plastic piece that held one of the side panel "quick-release" screws in on mine. Never had such problems on the 650D.

Unless Corsair were to drastically reduce their build quality, of course its going to be more expensive than plastic. I would have prefered to change to an 800D instead of an 810 at the time, but the 810 better suited what I wanted to do with the case.

Agreed completely. I managed to break both of the push tabs in the back off the day I got it and Since July both of the front fans have been having issues. If Corsair makes a version of the 650D that could fit a 360 or 420 I would be all over it in a heartbeat again.
