I did this myself and 2 days later was still not happy and have it posted for sale for 145$ but can not sell it lol...

When I first saw the Cosmos 2 at launch, I laughed.

My Cosmos Pure is a true classic.
The 900D is too much for me right now, but everything I would want, without paying the premium for Caselabs.

A rebate and 10% off sale at Newegg, and these will be sub $300 sometime late this year.

The cosmos 2 is an over the top case, no doubt about it. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with mine because it is excellent for air cooling - It really is a great case. Easy to work with, everything is tool-less, more room than you could ever need. The biggest annoyance is the lack of a windowed side panel! I wanna stare at my shiny toys with glowy LEDs on them wink.gif BUT, the 900D definitely seems to 1 up the cosmos II. I plan on getting the 900D as soon as its on newegg or amazon.

I would also be interested in a white version of the case, if done properly it would look sexy both in black and white smile.gif

Pearlescent Alpine white.

My thing was they called it an Ultra Tower but it couldn't do push/pull on a H100. lol
The plastic trim and basic plastic internals was straight from the HAF series. Come on, the Cosmos Series is meant to be sexy.
CM made the Cosmos 2 look fat and out of shape. Until CM shakes their HAF series obsession, they are going to continue to drop the ball on their premium line of cases.

What the hell. Sneak peak #3:

George is there a shelf between the drive bays at the bottom and the second set or is that completely open? was that prototype case modded to mount those twin pumps shown in sneak peek two?

not of you make your own mid plate. Simple piece of aluminum warped in Di-noc and your good. mayke ti like the LD Cooling and Case labsa cases with separated sections, that way the bottom rads use the bottom 120 and cross flow from the sides. then your top rad uses the intakes and you flip the rear exhaust fan and tadaaaa...air flow solved biggrin.gif

A completely stealthed front panel addon would be cool. Any chances of that happening?

This is a place to celebrate something the community has wanted and has needed for a long time. The community wanted this, the community needed this and that's why it was created. Just because this guy can't see a place for it doesn't mean thousands of guys out there can't. Doesn't mean thousands of guys out there don't need it and can't justify it with their set-ups.

If he wants to ask a legitimate question like what place does this have in the market and what's the need for it, then ask it but don't come here and slag it off when we don't want to hear it. Especially when this case isn't hurting him and has don't nothing to him. Their is need for negativity here and if he wants to bring some then he can be sure to receive some. His own fault and he deserves everything he gets in return.

And the reason why it probably doesn't have a removable tray and the reason he did a lot of things was cost. Keeping the cost down. He spoke about it in the video.

Nothing is perfect 100% but this is as close as I've seen to trying to appeal to everyone.

Great job George great job.

Oh so Im not allowed to express my opinion freely on OCN? What a great community you guys have here.

This case is extremely bland, the front is hideous, no groundbreaking or revolutionary features, just a huge case. This is the worst case Corsair has made. Their other cases are fantastic. This case is the NZXTs Phantom 820.

Awful awful case. Radiator space and bigger doesn't make it better. Nothing about this case is gorgeous.
