Well, I travel all around the US, Canada and Mexico (and sometimes other places as well). I think the last time I checked, I've been to 44 of the 50 states, and all but one of the provinces in Canada. I pick up a lot of various colloquialisms.

Heck, I was told that I sound British (but I and my wife don't hear it) by someone who watched a video I did when I was trouble shooting a problem I had with an XSPC Twin D5 dual bay reservoir, so who knows. rolleyes.gif

Ello Governa, I remember that video, and no I don't think you sound British.

Yeah, I was just thrown by the fist pump, being from OH, the midwest is pretty...dull, yeah, that's the word... and here if you see someone actually fist pump it is because they saw some dude on Jersey Shore do it and they thought it was cool.

I've traveled only a small bit (most of the south eastern US) and the only thing I ever pick up is the southern accent. My dad's from KY and my wife is from WV, so whenever I go to visit their families for any period of time, I always talk with a southern accent for a week or two, then it goes away, but I pick it up really easily (I guess being raised around my dad, it just sounds normal to me).

@CorsariGeorge

maybe you guys should investigate the demand for a midplate, or maybe a removable midplate option. i for one would like to see one, given the height of the case.

We actually thought about this, but with the wide variety of radiator mounting options on bottom (120, 240, 360, 480 or 140, 280, 420), the mid-plate would have to be removable, and the grommets for the tubing would have to be pretty frequently used. Not only that, it would be a strictly cosmetic piece that does nothing but add cost and look neat. It would actually make it MORE difficult to use the chassis because routing PSU cables or checking your watercooling tubing for kinks or leaks would require the removal of the mid-plate.

For these reasons we decided against it. However, it would be very easy to craft one manually. I'd personally make a measurement, and go to a plastics store and have them cut me a 1/4" thick piece of Lexan or Acrylic to fit the spot, probably in white. Then I'd put white LEDs under it and make it glow upwards. I think it'd be a pretty cool effect.

And what about the tubing routing? Cable routing? What about the end - on the HDD cage or the bracket under the cage? What about the grommets and mounting holes?

It's not even possible for production. The only way is custom plate. The only right way, if be honest.

More people need to think like you.
But people will still want Corsair to include everything and sell it for cheap.

@CorsairGeorge,

I respect the decision, and im sure removing a midplate is gonna be harder for one of us then to make one from scratch.
Could you look in the design drawings and let me know what the dimensions of a midplate would be? doubt its a perfect rectangle.
