That is encouraging for Amazon orders. Hoping they might not be delayed as much as originally feared.

Amazon does not says that the case will be available in may 17th. The right message is:

We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date.

I look forward to figuring out if I am or am not getting one of the 10 cases released. I have an order number and it was a successful transaction on the 29th when it was launched. Still stuck on "Pending". I have decided that if something falls through and I don't get one of the 10, I will buy another case compatible with the H110 cooler immediately as I am impatient. I am sitting on what you see in the picture.

I have not yet grabbed a GPU, originally went into a store for either GTX 680 SLI or GTX 690. I was then told that the GTX 690 is the better option and that it would have less risk for error over the SLI which is only marginally better. He then said if I am spending the money on a GTX 690 that I should just get a Titan and possibly get a second Titan when the price drops? Everything I read supports that the Titan is worse than the other 2 options so I am all confused.

As for Europe, I'm not comfortable giving a date because Europe operates heavily through distribution.

For example.

In the US, if Amazon or Newegg orders an entire container of cases from us, we ship directly from our China port to their hub. Newegg has three hubs in the US that receive cases from us, California, New Jersey, and Memphis. A container gets from China to California in about 20 days, give or take depending on a few factors. Then, since Newegg is an etailer, they receive it and the unit can show up for sale on almost the same day.

In Europe, there aren't many direct etailers/retailers big enough to take direct containers, so a lot more of the business is done through distribution. Which means, for example, that your local computer shop in Belgium is probably buying our cases from a distributor in France. It may take 26 days for the container to get from China to France. Then it hits the distributor in France and they go through their orders. Two small shops in Belgium, four small shops in France, a large shop in Denmark, some medium sizes shops elsewhere. It takes them a few days to sort those out and put them on trucks for local delivery. This can be as quick as one day or as long as a week, depending on a bunch of factors. And then once it hits the small shop, they could have it for sale that day or they may wait a day or so if they have display or storage concerns or something.

So to put it succinctly:
A container leaves China on a boat on April 1st, and lands in City of Industry, CA for Newegg 20 days later, on April 21st. It shows up for sale immediately.
A container leaves China on a boat on April 1st, and lands in France 26 days later, on April 27th. It takes 2-5 days for the distributor to sort the container and ship to customers. Customers receive anywhere from April 29th to May 3rd. Customers take an extra day or two to display the product or put it on their site, the product goes up for sale anywhere from April 30th to May 6th, more than a week buffer.

And this is only if it's France. Germany may add 2-3 days. Scandinavia another day or two. So on and so forth.

The fastest is usually people who live in Taiwan or Hong Kong

Nice! George, if I buy it from Corsair's website on April 16th can I pick it up at your warehouse?, Since I live near Corsair in the Bay Area I rather pick it up instead of paying for shipping or trusting UPS/FedEx with my precious case. (I picked up my RMA there two weeks ago) Thanks.
