I think you should do custom water cooling. I wasn't even going to get this case originally, i was going to do a custom loop in my HAFx but then i thought i might as well go all out. so now I have a 360 and 480mm rad tons of fans and bought a huge res. i think it will look awesome if you do a lot of water cooling in this case. Using a H110 cooler just isn't doing this case justice. Maybe you could sell it to a friend to cover some of the cost of buying some more things.

IMO of course

And yeah, this isn't going to fit under my desk like my HAF 932 did.. Going to put it on top of desk, where it belongs biggrin.gif
Do it! You'll never want to go back.. But definitely do your research beforehand.

I would like a beast setup like what we have seen on the 900D Demo video of the water cooling capabilities. Money is not really an object. Since I am a water cooling newb, I don't really know about the "gold standard" setups to get. I understand how to put everything together, and am fairly comfortable with plumbing and outdoor fountain work (Sort of similar idea with tubes, pumps, reservoirs, etc). I also have watched a crap-load of videos on setting up a custom water cooled pc (The Linus videos) as well as read several forums explaining what everything does. I have a reasonably good understanding of what every item required for custom watercooling does (in terms of function), I just don't know what the "good brands" or "good models" to seek are. I have always done things in excess, so I would like to keep that track record for my first cooling project. Just need to figure out what will be my ideal build. I do know I would like to at least have 2x480 rads and possibly a 360 rad in the front in push/pull(Overkill for no reason other than...Why not?).

My setup currently is this:
Components:
-Asus Rampage IV Extreme Mobo
-16GB (4x4) of 1866 Dominator Platinum Ram
-Intel 3930K CPU
-EVGA GTX Titan (GPU) (will also be getting a second for SLI- might wait a bit for this though)
-AX1200I (PSU)
-WD Black Harddrive (2TB)
-2x 240GB Neutron GTX SSD
-1x LG Blu-Ray Writer drive

Cooling:
Corsair H110 (looks like not gonna be used anymore)
Stockpile of AF120's, AF 140's and SP120's

I would say my budget for Liquid cooling would be preferably under $1500. If solid setup was under $1000 that would also be nice.

Wow, you can make an awesome setup for that much money. I don't know if you've heard of Singularity Computers and he makes some very high quality set ups. I would search for him on youtube. it will give you a lot of inspiration to make a kick ass build!

There's many different brands that are of high quality/performance for each different component. Such as..

Pumps: Swiftech, Alphacool
Reservoirs: XSPC, EK, Swiftech
Radiators: Alphacool, Swiftech, Hardware Labs, EK
Cpu/gpu/etc blocks: EK, Alphacool, (mind drawing blank)
Tubing: Primoflex, Tygon, Xspc
Etc, etc..
This is just a very basic list, I know I left many out, I am just jotting this down from work. I would definitely suggest making a post in the water cooling section to keep this thread on topic biggrin.gif

Grayskull - I love your enthusiasm! While we are waiting for our beloved dream case to arrive you might check this link out? It has a lot of good water cooling info. http://martinsliquidlab.i4memory.com/index.html Can't wait to see what you do.

There was a 2-day delay in shipping (holiday in China required us to change some plans - units would have left our warehouse but wouldn't have flown out until Monday from China, so we flew them to the US and are shipping them from here), the units are en route now though.

Here's a picture of them in our warehouse.

Ignore the broken pallet and incorrect tie down, these were all re-wrapped and re-palletized before shipping out to the US again.

They're coming.

Hey Grayskull. I would def recommend custom loop. I have about the same set up as you
and have used both the h100 and h100i. I recently switched over to customer loop and now have the cpu cooled. Just waiting for the gpu blocks to finish the loop. If you're in Canada you should check out Dazmode. He's got awesome advice and really great videos for cooling. GOod luck.

Gray I'm in the same boat as you. I wasn't planning to custom WC but the 900D just begs you to do it. So keep bringing on the links, info and recommendations guys.
