Dear Mr. Corsair George,

It has been exactly 8 months and 24 days since we first laid eyes on the first images of the 900D. Since then, you have taunted and teased us with pictures of the mythic Godzilla. We then saw it for the first time at CES in its entirety. A truly magnificent specimen indeed. But with all rare beasts, its elusive and hard to capture. You have succeeded in securing no more than a handful of them as of yet but there are way more people who want one for ourselves. Most of us just want to have one to call it our own, to play with it and feed it components, to show it off to our friends and make them jealous and want one too. Others still might want to experiment on it and tests its limits, see what makes it tick, make it bend to our will. Regardless which camp we fall in, we all want a chance to see this this legendary chimera for ourselves. We understand that they're extremely hard to track, even harder to bring into captivity. But all we ask for you to go out and try to hunt down some more down some more so that everyone can get one, and if possible your best guess when you might succeed.

Yours Truly.

You can unscrew the solid metal piece to reveal the actual grill. I did that immediately and there's no way I would leave them on with fans down there.

Here's a pic (I took out the filter between the grill and the fans for the picture however)

I think George is afraid to update the ship dates for fear of more people dropping off..........
With that said a new update with estimated landings for newegg or microcenter would go a long way with me.
cmon George! smile.gif

I'd feel sorry for anyone that gives up on this legendary case now, when it's so close to arriving. They will just look back and wish they had not switched brands. When the rest of us will be playing with one of the best cases ever made! I like to Mod my cases and if I need a side panel or some other part for the case, Corsair carries a lot of replacement parts that other manufacturers don't want to be bothered with. It's coming very soon, so don't lose hope. All you people that work for other case manufacturers quit pretending your buyers and go find your own customers. I want my 900D !

No he merely thinks that the 900D thread would be a .... well ... 900D thread and not a CaseLabs purchase log. rolleyes.gif

I pointed out 2 things, someones incorrect criticism of Corsair for selling limited cases direct from the factory instead of using those to fulfill Amazon preorders, and the plethora of offtopic posting not related to the 900D. None of you have claimed anything I said was wrong, you merely attacked my lack of a post count....

I have no problems with criticizing Corsair, or speculating about the 900D. For example I am guessing that this latest delay is due to them inspecting their shipment once it got off the boat for cracked windows before sending it off to retailers. I expect they are having to rework some manufacturing processes to prevent the screws on the window from overtightening which is leading to the cracks developing.

it's called cheap plexglass or as we English say Perspex must have a low shatter point ..only thing to do would use a rubber washer or a better quality Perspex
i'm really sad I had to cancel mine after looking forward to it for what 5 months ..but constant delays and my pc70 (14yrs old) on it's last legs means I had to ...

but if George wants to send me one he can ...

this is what i'm getting
a very nice case ..http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/atx-hptx/47-ld-pc-v8-atx-hptx-black.html

I won't be posting any dates because I learned my lesson. If I say tomorrow, and it lands in 2 days, all I do is piss people off.

And as for people with the window, we can replace them all very easily for people and we are not seeing it in 100% of shipped cases. We're very sorry for the delays, and we thank those who are willing to wait patiently. For those others, we completely understand and hope you are happy with whatever other case you decide to purchase.

Fair call George, The wait is to be honest really annoying but you can't get angry at corsair for this, They are a great company and stuff like this happens to everybody, individuals and companies alike, and in life things don't always work out the way you want.

Anyway, Does anybody know if one 30CM white LED strip inside the door just above the window of the case would be enough to light most of the case?
