Anyway, Does anybody know if one 30CM white LED strip inside the door just above the window of the case would be enough to light most of the case?

I was wondering that myself, ended up getting a 60cm just in case.
I am sure somebody here would have put lighting into there case by now who would know.

George: I know that you are a Pro, and so you already know this. But I think it is worth mentioning nonetheless... The very vocal members of a particular forum do not necessarily represent the wider customer community. I am confident that many, many folks feel as I do, that you have been a truly Stand Up Guy! You have braved the slings and arrows, and upheld Corsair's tradition of showing respect to the customer. Considering the state of Corporate America in general, you guys are absolute stars! You are not perfect, but if one spends any time reading through the various enthusiast forums one finds that you do what needs doing to correct errors, help customers with technical issues, and generally go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is happy by the time you are done helping him. As many others have already stated, your efforts here are truly appreciated!

If George wont post dates to piss people off, then I guess I'll take a jab at that instead! Estimated date of arrival 5/20/2013!

I kidd, I kidd. Though it does look like Newegg updated their OOS ETA date. OUT OF STOCK. ETA: 05/20/2013. Maybe this is an indicator as to when we can expect it? I mean, it appears to have been delayed a couple times from getting the pallets on the boat to getting them off and into the retailer warehouses. How many more delays can there possibly be?

Shipping from Taiwan to the states can take a total of 6 weeks, since it normally takes 4 weeks for them to move by boat then 7-10 days to clear customs then another few days to make it to final destination

George I truly appreciate you suffering the slings and arrows that come with monitoring a thread of this nature and representing Corsair in fine fashion in the process. Offering your support here at OCN and reaching out to the enthusiast network is greatly appreciated! On that I hope we can all agree.

Facts are:

This case unique design is worth waiting for.

It's price point is fair given the competition's equivalent.

As a PC builder I appreciate all the advance knowledge I've gleaned since the initial announcement.

Planning a complex build is complicated at best and the questions answered here have been invaluable to that end.

I'd rather know these things before I buy.

I recently retired a cooler master stc-t01 cm stacker case which I used for 10 years and 20 or more builds all water cooled and know the value of a quality/versatile case.

Based on what I've learned so far and the reputation of Corsair I see this case as a must have and a long term investment.

Perfection is in the eyes of the beholder and in the hands of a skilled modder. No case is perfect!

Hind sight is 20/20 still I see an excellent foundation for water cooling enthusiast.

Will there be revisions improvements alterations? Yes, of course but, I suspect not too dissimilar than the initial release and I suspect, given Corsair's reputation, accommodations will be made available for the end users.

A case like this has been a long time coming from a major player such as Corsair and I for one am glad to see it.

Would I like one yesterday? Yes, of course, but I'm willing to wait

Crying about it's lack of availability serves no purpose you either love it or hate it want it or borderline not sure.

Bashing Corsair for going out of there way to give us something to look forward to is counter productive and also serves no purpose.

I for one would like to see more of this or even a community designed and built case by a major player such as Corsair and applaud them for sticking there neck out like this.

What some folks are doing here makes that kind of thing less likely and is heading the wrong direction with there childish ways.

Threats attacks and complaining are counter productive.

Corsair has and is demonstrating their commitment to the enthusiast network and I view that as more important to my commitment to you than a delay on one case no matter how badly I might want it.

Kudos to Corsair and you George. Keep your head high! Corsair 900d FTW

Regards, Wayne

Thanks George......
I can't speak for everyone, but what I was looking for wasn't a specific concrete date just an update as to where the containers were..... ie left the port, on the boat, arrived in us, or awaiting to be
distributed.......that way we can gauge when to start looking for them, so as not to miss out when they are available. I don't mind waiting just hate sitting here being put in the position of not knowing anything...........if that makes any sense.......thanks again.

Cheers:)

Sorry if I didn't read through all the pages here, but I was wondering about the placement of the radiator at the bottom of the case. If I put a 480mm radiator below, part of a fan/radiator would be blocked by the power supply. Would it be better in that case to do a push or pull? Would it matter?

I kidd, I kidd. Though it does look like Newegg updated their OOS ETA date. OUT OF STOCK. ETA: 05/20/2013. Maybe this is an indicator as to when we can expect it? I've seen that ETA date march in 5 day increments for over 2 weeks now. Take it with a large grain of salt.

And yes, I'm still waiting, with a pile of parts sitting in boxes, like many of you... smile.gif

I believe you can do a 480 push-pull in the bottom, with clearance for a power supply on the other side, no problem....this is with a standard 50-60mm thick rad though. With a super thick performance rad like a Monsta! you would only be able to do push OR pull.
