Crap, you'd think Canada was a third-world country or overseas for crypes sake. Can't order from Newegg.com, Newegg.ca isn't even listing it or stocking it yet, NCIX no stock yet, MemoryExpress no stock yet, Tiger Direct.ca not listing or stocking it...we are on the same freakin' continent!! Geezus this is pissing me off!

You actually can order from newegg.com. I don't remember how, but it's possible and the shipping cost/duties would be enormous for an item of this price.

I understand,
I think the reason why is three fold.

1) Order size - The economy of scale dictates basically getting the largest orders out first. NCIX doesnt have the capasity to match that of its US competitors.

2) Order timing - I dont think NCIX or any other Canadian counterpart was the anywhere near the front of the line when it came to placing their orders.

3) Travel Time - Even though we are on the same continent, it'll take over a week maybe two by land for these to reach Canada. The usually land in California, and take time to reach the distributors which are usually located in Vancouver or Toronto, before they even get sent out to the Retail locations. So even if, say they both landed at the exact same time... products would show up in a Canadian store 1-2 weeks after they show up in an american store, based on the assumption that they both landed at the exact same time.

George, correct me if I'm wrong, but for Canada we're looking at what, Mid June estimates?

1) That's not exactly true since NCIX is a competitor of newegg in the US. If they weren't big enough to match their competitors, they would not have an american office.

3) George had said earlier that large retailers had their shipments shipped directly to them and not through corsair, meaning that they would have landed directly at the west coast in either vancouver (if in canada) and along the west coast (if in the US) and to go through customs so there's no shipping them to the US and then re-shipping them to Canada. It's straight to their locations.

George, we appreciate all that you do.
My 900D was perfect in every respect, but even if it wasn't, as long as it worked, no harm no foul, for this guy.
My 800D had a bent expansion slot cover that I had to straighten out when I got it, but I still used it as is, after I broke out the slip-joint pliers and a 1/2" flat blade screwdriver...
I work logistics in my day job, and understand "damaged in shipment". We even have a form for it. biggrin.gif

Yes... thats why there was a European retailer that was one of the first ones to get it as well and thats also why corsair also let anyone worldwide buy the limited stock they had off their site so long as the buyer agreed to the air shipping cost.. yes... yanks first indeed..

Hey Taz I'm sure as soon as they get some windows in you should be able to get it replaced. I took mine off last night to look at how it was put together and it is very easy to disassemble. Welcome to the club ! I'm very happy to work with this case, it is setup to do about anything with. Show us some pictures once you get going.

Received mine this morning from Amazon and just did a quick inspection so far everything is flawless with the exception of the rad door. It wasn't sitting properly so i had to slightly lower it so the door would be in better alignment to the base and close properly. But that just took a little nudge. smile.gif

I am amazed at the size of this thing though. I new the dimensions but wow!

I am a very happy owner! biggrin.gif
