See many people like the "idea" of the HAF XB, but some people, like myself, just can't stand the tacky look from it. George we need this!

I just hope this isn't really expensive, I don't want to be spending more than $450.00 on a case in all honesty, I'd rather buy the 800D if that were to be the case (FYI I live in Australia, so everything in electronics is more expensive).

i quite like the cube form factor actualy... i am just not a fan of the industril look when it sits on my desk... i quite like it on my HAF X, but the XB looks weird for some reason... i realty like sleek cases (the HAF X is an acception... cant justify why i like it so much tongue.gif)... i think an obsidian line cube would be a great case smile.gif

Assuming there will not be any more major design changes, what is the max or optimal radiator configuration without modification to the case?

i hope for a 2x420 in the bottom of the case (look like an integrated pedestal) + 1x360 on the top of the case (+ 1x120 on the rear)

But if we can add 2x420 rads in the pedestal, i wonder where are we gonna put the PSU thinking.gif

2x420 sounds a bit wishful imo, too big, gotta fit PSU somewhere
I prefer bottom

2 x 240 in the botton is not wishful thining as i have seen people put that in the Cosmos II with out mods.
even better would be 2 x 360 in bottom and full size power supply with room in between them to draw the air and mount other items. also 1 x 480 in top and 1 x 240 on back panel would be perfect... if this could be done with out mods. or too intensive of mods?? lol
post #579 of 5816
George could i ask you something off topic. i have been trying to find out if the dominator platuimum memory is certified for the RIVE with 8 times 8 gb sticks for a total of 64 gb. i have asked ram guy and he told me to look at ram configerator and this dose not tell. but i have read of people using this memory at full speed of 2133 and then some can not get it above 1600 to 1866. can you help me with this??
Don't have any clue on the RAM stuff, sorry.

I won't discuss specifics on the radiator config yet, but I'll tell you one little bit - the top will fit a 480 or a 420, thick, in push pull.
