You might also like getting an actual card and a aftermarket cooler to put on it. This way if you ever go to sell it it'll probably have more chance at selling! tongue.gif

I would doubt it although the technology does exist so it might be - but either way, it is so incredibly silent you'll never hear it.

I'm not sure that you'd need the fan to turn off, in terms of fan longitivity it should go and go and go for at least a couple of years, and in terms of noise you shouldn't be able to hear it at idle RPM. smile.gif

Based on the suggestions here, and after doing some more of my own research, I've decided on:

XFX Radeon HD 6770 HD677XZNFC Video Card - 1024MB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.1 (x16), 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, DirectX 11, Dual-Slot, CrossFireX Ready, Eyefinity

Given my needs, and with the rebate, it's also the best bang for the buck among the cards I shortlisted.
