How do I lap mosfet ramsinks for videocard?

I'm planning to buy mosfet ramsinks to put on the mosfets for my card. I suspect 4 of them are too tall to fit so I may need to sand down the top part of the ramsinks by half its length using 600 grit super fine sandpaper correct?

Yeah, don't use sandpaper. Dremel or hacksaw would work too.

found some smaller ramsinks yay


W1zzard from techpowerup just told me he measured my card's memory chips as 11.6 x 13.8 mm.

so I think i may get Pccooler RHS-03 ramsinks = 14mm (L) x 12mm (W)
