GTX 460's Won't SLI

Hello OCN, I'm having some problems with my new GTX 460. I have been using a 460 Twin Frozr II and upgraded by adding an EVGA GTX 460. The cards are both plugged in and working properly, they just refuse to work together. I am using the 285.38 drivers for the 460's.

When I select SLI mode, the drivers seem to stop working and the NVIDIA control panel won't respond. Here's some pictures of what I'm dealing with.

Is your motherboard SLI compatible? Also, as a side note try using the 301.42 drivers. There is a few 400 series boosts in those drivers. They increased my 3D mark scores substantially and overall FPS in games.

They added the GPU boost technology (somewhat) in the drivers.

My motherboard is the ASUS ROG Gene-Z, see my build in my sig. I had problems with 301.42 previously, tried it again and still wouldn't work.

Make sure all your clocks are the same. And get the absolute latest drivers that're WHQL approved. If that fails try the SLI patch.

Just was wondering in case you bought it from some random, and it might have been defective.

Have you tried flashing your motherboard bios to the newest version?

EDIT: I believe this is your motherboard if I'm correct, if I'm not select the right one.
