Is anyone aware of real (bricks and mortar) stores that might have paracord? I'm wondering if Michaels or somewhere like that would have it.

Just want to take a look at the stuff before I commit to buying it in quantity.

Many military surplus shops carry Paracord since it was developped for military use.

I suppose it doesn't matter if I just want to get a feel for how it compares.

Up until now I've tried really crappy PET stuff from Frys and the Bitspower Super Tight Weave which is better, but arguably too tight.

I would also like to see (and feel!) the MDPC stuff - if someone where willing to mail me a couple of feet I would be more than willing to reimburse them.
