I'll be taking a lot of written based subjects next year so typing is a pretty big thing for me. I know how much of a release blue switches are from rubber domes smile.gif But due to my FPS playing style I'm not sure how I'd be able to cope. I could always adapt, right?

I love my razor keyboard, my previous was a logitech G15 that does not even compare. Typing on it is just amazing, I hammered out 4 essays on it last term alone and loved it. My gf whos a writing tutor at WLU loves it as well, to the point that she will ask me to use it to type.

Gaming with it feels great, really good. The sound is a bit loud, but it is very satisfying to hear, can't explain why. Best keyboard I've got under 100 by far.

I personally tried a cm storm quickfire rapid with both cherry MX reds and blues and I can play FPS games equally with both. But typing is much better with the blues so I decided to keep the MX blue board. Also the red cherry version is $90 while the blue cherry version is only $64.... I don't think the reds are worth the price hike.

Nothing wrong with blues if your finger are at least as strong as a toddler's and you don't mind the noise. Anyone who honestly has issues with fully depressing a Cherry Blue is just pathetic.

lol Please don't ask this personal question biggrin.gif
Go try yourself which switch you feel comfortable with.
And ... I guess many of us, mechanical keyboard users, have more than one type of switch mechanical keyboard.
You gonna buy another one anyway biggrin.gif

First of all, I know it's personal but I was asking about specific issues people have encountered. I asked if anyone experienced a double-tapping issue. Or any other problems when playing FPS games with blue switches. Perhaps you should read my post before blindly replying with the usual answer?

Secondly I'm asking for opinions because in England we don't really have many IRL stores that sell gaming keyboards let alone mechanical keyboards. The biggest PC store in my area only has a Steelseries 6G on display and that's blacks and I know for a fact that I hate blacks.

I'd say I've narrowed it down to Blues and Browns but I wanted to find out how persistent the issues with Blues are. Also it's way cheaper and easier for me to get a normal Blackwidow instead of the 2013 edition, so has anyone with that keyboard experienced the "spacebar / keys randomly popping out" issue that I keep hearing about?
