Weird problem with CPU loop! - Page 8

I just tried tilting my case all the way to where the back is almost touching the floor.

Its tuff because i have weels on the bottom of my case and it tends to slip.

This is so frustrating because i have never had this issue before i mounted my radiators like this underneath my case and on its side.

Don't shake it so much as tilt it the optimal direction. Make sure your rad is In on the bottom and out on the top for water, then tilt the case so that the barbs are angling upward somewhat (likely requires 2-direction tilt). Air bleeding always works best with the pump off and on low; then switching between off and high to try to force out the remaining bubbles.

- Does the water move just as fast without the radiator in the loop as with?

- Have you tried tilting the radiator up and using the air bleed screw?

It really looks like you just have a good sized pocket of air somewhere; by getting rid of the high restriction CPU block, it's made the amount of pressure significantly less, but still there.

i would not be able to tell you if the water moves just as fast with or without the radiator in the loop. How can i tell?

I have tried lifting the entire radiator above the case, to the side, shaking it and nothing happens. But its definitly the radiator or somthing inside like air pocket like you said. I have given up trying to get rid of the air pocket. I also hear a little tightening inside the radiator when the pumps start, like pressure or somthing.

Can you shake the rad around after the pumps are going and see if you hear any swishing of water (that would mean there's air)?

Yes i do hear water splishing and splashing inside.

Their is definitly air inside.

But i have tried everything to try and release it and no joy

i fear that there may be a manufacturing defect like somthing soldered inside that should not have been soldered.

That's not impossible: if you stand it on end with the barbs on the bottom and loosen the air bleed screw on top, does water come out?

[Edit]
The bleed screw should be a small screw on the opposite end of the rad from the barbs, on the side.

Two on the left would give you sloshy sound, two on the right wouldn't. If it is sloshing than you have air and water in the same chamber. So even if you had some bizarre solder of DOOM (depicted in theory in middle two), if you can hear slosh there is still air.

Also, have you tried filling one port on the rad, than plugging it, than turning it over to see if water comes out the other port?
