I use my E6400 as my HTPC

E6400
Zalman 9500 cooler
Gigabyte P35-S3G
2x2 gigs ram
XFX 5770 1GB
500 gig WD AAKS OS
500 gig WD BEVT 2.5"
24x DVDRW
XClio 500 Watt GoodPower
and I have a external BluRay player if I want to watch blurays.

I only use this as my HTPC cause my son doesn't game on it anymore, he is into xbox 360/ps3

Performs like a champ haven't had any problems yet. Have XMBC set for video accelerated output and I haven't had a single hiccup on 1080P video. Haven't tried any gaming yet so I'm kind of curious to try that out on some older DX9 games. In hindsight an SSD as a boot drive would have been a better then this 5900rpm Samsung ECO HDD, due to the slow drive overall desktop responsiveness is a little sluggish. Just gotta find some time to reinstall the OS and load all my movies back on when i get around to purchasing the drive.
