stick around for new Nvidia chipset or go Intel?

Thread Starter
As you all know, I have this sucky asus p5n32-sli board. I have the opportunity to unload an old system with my current dual 7900 GTX's included in the sale, which would allow me to get another new mobo for my x6800 and also allow me to either get one expensive ati card, or get two middle of the road ati cards and crossfire them.

Or should I stick around for the new nvidia chipsets and keep my cards? what do you think?

If you can wait, do it. It looks like they will be great boards. Since it's not like you'll be waiting 2-3 months, I'd say it's worth it. As long as you can stand sticking with the P5N32 board for now

Look at my rig in the sig...I hate it.

BUT! I am ordering two more LCD monitors to create the illusion of peripheral vision in games like Oblivian. SO, I may ditch that POS NV4 mobo and get me a nice 975 based mobo and run both cards in NON-SLI mode.

There are interesting alternatives out there is my point.

Any good boards that use the new CPU's but intel chipsets that would work for SLI?

it just seems like the nvidia boards to not oc well...so I am thinking of getting the pw5 (I think) and just getting a high end ATI card, and if I want another, just crossfire it...
