Uploaded pics are smaller now? 8/24/12

  • What happened? Uploaded pics are now smaller in size when you click on them.


  • Are you able to reproduce this problem consistently? Yes


  • What steps did you take to reproduce this problem? uploaded pics and tried to view them


  • What action did you expect to occur when this bug appeared? pic opens to original/near original size when clicked on.

I have a 1080p display. When I left click on that image (or any 1080p image), it's smaller than it's original size and cannot be zoomed in. If I view the image properties it shows the following: 1,920px × 1,080px (scaled to 1,523px × 857px). If I save the image from here I'll still get a 1080p image albeit with a completely different filename (a bunch of numbers instead of the original filename).

 

When I middle click on it (open in new tab) I get a zoomed out image with the original filename. This image can be zoomed in to actual size by clicking on it.

I can't understand why people regular click on pictures anyway. Just scales them and they look crappy. Middle click is the only way to go imo.
