hello there smile.gif)) i just went on my asrock z77 pro4 motherboards bios, and i clicked on 4 ghz. auto.. the voltage is about 1.272-1.288..

Im using prime blend test and an h60 cooler. its 100 F so i thought it would be best to try Overclocking now smile.gif)..? i want to try to do 1.25v max, thanks.. im a noob at this bios, so please help me XD.

Im also never going to do anything more intensive than bf3...

Temps look great. But I'd run tests for a longer time. Two hours is a good starting point. I'd also recommend that you use Prime95 for testing temps.

I had the same questions as you, some time back. This thread might help you. smile.gif

By the way, if you're about to look into voltages and stuff with your CPU now, I wouldn't recommend you exceeding 1.4V.

Mine is at 4.5Ghz with 1.35 Volts. I'm guessing you could push yours a little more though, because its under water thumb.gif

Please, do not use the auto overclock features on motherboards, they get your cpu hot as hell...

There's a topic about ocing your sb with asrock motherboards, I can't link it cause I'm on my cell phone, but take a look on that topic, I'm running 4.6 stable 24/7 after reading it all =)
