Thin / lightweight

1080p screen

Good gfx card ( a little bit of gaming)

more than 8GB+ of ram

Quad core processor?

15inch or smaller


Price is not really a problem. But it would be nice to find a lightweight gaming laptop.

15" 1080p IPS panel, 4.46 pounds, i7-3612QM quad, Nvidia 640M LE graphics, etc, for $1270, and it might come with $250 off a PS3/PS Vita (probably for students only).

You won't find a 15" 1080p with better graphics that's as light/thin, except the Macbook Pro Retina, for $2200.

All the above can be configured to fit the 1080p/quad core. not anywhere near ultrabook light but a whole lot lighter then typical gaming laptops

1080p IPS Standard. Can config for i7 Quads and decent video cards. Lightweight systems especially the Z

Apple Macbook Pro Retina with Windows 7 on bootcamp
16:10 (2880x1800) 1800p Screen, Quad i7, SSD, 650M GT come standard.


The MBP Retina with Windows 7 in Boot Camp seems like your best option if money is not a concern and your looking for a very lightweight gaming capable laptop with the specs your looking for
