Have an issue - GTX 680 is not lining up with HAF 932

I have the HAF 932 (Full Chassis with Blue LED) case. I have a Asrock Z77 Extreme9 motherboard, and I'm trying to install the GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB GPU. However, when I try to put the GPU in the PCI-E slot (slot 2, since it's one card. I'll switch to 1 and 5 when the second card comes in the mail and I set up SLI), it does not line up. The DVI-I and DVI-D are running into the metal dividers between slots, when the card is seated, not allowing it to be seated properly or allow the monitors to be connected. Furthermore, if I cut the metal between the "windows frames," the prongs still won't fit into the bottom case slots. They'll still be misaligned. Have I done something improperly, or is there incompatibility issue with the case that I'm not aware of?

Thanks.

I was finally able to get it into slot 2. Still not able to get it into slot 1. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I feel there must be something wrong, since these are not uncommon parts and I don't see anyone else encountering these issues when I google the three parts.
