GTX 580 Classified NO Voltage tweek?????

Hey guys.

I have tried overclock my gtx 580 classified but it wouldn't let me adjust the voltage on the card.
Tried in oc and normal mode as well no luck. I used EVGA Precision 2.0.2/2.0.4, Precision X 3.0..., EVTune,MSI afterburner with no luck whatsoever.

So at moment I've only reached 900 MHz on the core but to go any further I need to add extra voltage.

Please help me with this smile.gif

Thanks

Just realized it said 580 not 680, they started out needing the evbot for voltage control, but there should be an updated bios that allows evtune to work for that.

Reading around it looks like you should be able to tweak voltage with software, there's at least 1 post in there that said it works

Even if I can change it, just reverts to 1.1 V as soon as I hit "apply".

I've got a 580GTX Classified and have had trouble with upping the voltage as well (no EV bot and not getting one). I think EVGA Precision v.2.xx had a separate software voltage controller with it so look for that. I think they took it out with PrecisionX 3.xxx, but if you upgraded from version 2.xxx it's still there (at least for me).

Regardless, make sure you moved the switch on the card to "LN2" to unlock the voltage. After that - good luck. At times it seems like I got the voltage bumped higher but then I'll check back and it's reset. Very frustrating.
