After setting up some u2412m at work and confirming my tablet pc did 1920x1200 with hdmi to dvi adapter i was ready to order one.
The tablet spec says just 1080p over hdmi so I was happy to cross out those 1080p monitors.
The problem with the dell is connections, or lack of since the monitor would function as a "hub" to just connect different devices like a pc and android tablet with hdmi, notebook with dvi-d and maybe the ps3.
The main issue with dell was lack of hdmi.
Just before ordering i got a tip about HP ZR2440w, that it could be a better "allrounder" for me regards to ps3 and audio with hdmi.
Problem is that i have not tested it, dont know if i could get 1920x1200 from my tablet pc with hdmi, or hdmi-dvi adapter. It worked on the dell, but dont know that much about monitors. My last one was a 14" crt before moving to notebooks and random work monitors.
The ZR2440W is 30% more expensive, but dont know how the picture\quality compares to the dell.
