Official gw2 server and ocn guild?

So what is the final
Word on the ocn guild and server choices? Now that head start begins
Tomorrow, for prepurchasers. I imagine there will be 2?
One for us yanks, and one for the resident Europeans? What about
a vent/mumble server? I know there's already a thread started on this a
While back, but is all full of irrelevant stuff. I'm looking for only needed

OCN already has a Mumble Server, you can find the information here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1196770/mumble-comes-to-overclock-net
I can setup a Guild Wars 2 channel with multiple rooms for multiple parties, that is not a problem.

As for hosting a server, we cannot do something along those lines. If you mean which server will most OCN players be joining, I would start up a poll regarding the server choices. We do not specify people to join a certain server just because they are part of OCN.

In regards to an 'official' OCN Guild Wars 2 Clan, that is something that would initially be 'unofficial' until we see that there is enough backing support from everyone to make it official. This is something that would be ran by a member of the community and would have to give OCN a good name on the server. We really do not want people giving OCN a bad name through such a popular game.

Myself will not be playing Guild Wars 2 as I did not like the initial impression when I tried the Beta out. I will give it some time and see how it does though. If it seems to be going strong when I will think about purchasing it, otherwise I will just wait around for one that interests me a bit more. I am a fan of the free targeting system, not a point and click targeting system. thumb.gif

Quick question about this. Does that mean the guild being formed for Guild Wars 2 on here should use OCN's name when creating the guild? Before getting an official nod of support from the site?

I'm asking because I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to change a guild's name in Guild Wars 2. There has been some talk in that thread about having to wait to make the guild / or name it something that doesn't relate to OCN's name due to needing official permission from the site.

If anything official is posted on this matter,it would be in here. We are having discussion regarding this right now. I will lock this thread as all other questions should be redirected to the thread that I posted above.

There is no official word on whether an 'Official OCN Guild' will be able to be made as of this time.
