For 14€ more I can get the 530w: http://www.amazon.de/quiet-Pure-Power-L8-CM-530W-Netzteil/dp/B005JS580A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345977485&sr=8-1

Maybe that's a good idea for the price? or is it wasted?

Not a beastly one, something around 160€ ...
Greetings,

Should be alright then, as long as it is a quality 430w.

Just going from my card (215w), it wouldn't leave a ton of headroom, but it would suffice. Since we both have 125w processors. 125w CPU and 215w GPU = 340w with no overclocking, motherboard or hard disks. At least newer GPU architectures are far more power efficient (sort of the only reason I'd replace this card at all lol).

Edit: as far as a recommendation, I don't exactly know how reliable beQuiet PSU's are, as I've never really looked into them. So I can't say. If it's a quality build, then 530 for a few more quid sounds like a good deal.

You won't be using with such a card (~160 euros, as you put it), so it's essentially wasted money..

I ended up ordering the 530w, the price difference turned out to be only 7€ rolleyes.gif AND they didn't have the 430 in stock.
So I pretty much had to order the 530w.

Thanks everyone, this really is a great forum!
