Hi everyone.I'm going to buy a monitor in a week for ps3 and xbox 360.The picture quality is the main priority for me.I don't need 3d.
I have 3 options.
*BenQ RL2450H ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/BenQ+-+24%22+LCD+Monitor+-+Black%2C+Red/5534989.p?id=1218652653339&skuId=5534989&st=BenQ%20RL2450H&cp=1&lp=1 )
*HP x2301( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+23%22+LED+HD+Monitor+-+Aquamarine/Aluminum/2931924.p?id=1218364887074&skuId=2931924&st=hp%20x2301&cp=1&lp=1 )
*SAMSUNG S23B550V ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+23%26%2334%3B+Widescreen+Flat-Panel+LED+HD+Monitor/4835351.p?id=1218540194330&skuId=4835351&st=SAMSUNG%20S23B550V&cp=1&lp=1 )

So which one is the best for picture quality and console gaming?
I'm not eperienced about monitors.Any suggests within $250 price range can help me. smile.gif

The RL24 sucks, it has tons of ghosting, that HP is not very good either and there are no reviews of that Samsung, but it should be fine.

If you want good picture quality get an Asus VG23AH, it's 20$-30$ over your budget, but it uses an IPS panel=better colours, semi-glossy coating=clearer colours vs matte TN's and the viewing angles are way better. It is just as fast as a 2ms 60hz TN, it also supports 3D & comes with 2 pairs of glasses

Yes,ips panels have better picture quality.I don't know if it's true but according to what i read from forums they are generally not prefered by gamers because of their high ms times but 5ms seems fine.
How about viewsonic monitors?Do you recommend them?
I also found this monitor.Would you recommend this over benq?

IPS panels only have high manufacturer provided response times such has 5//6/8/12/14ms vs TN panels 2 & 5ms. When actually measured, most have very low response times that rival TN's.

Viewsonic does not make good monitors which is why they are so cheap, & their cheap IPS panels lack proper over drive=ghosting.

Your link just takes me to NewEgg's front page.

That BenQ sucks, if you have to have one of the 3 you listed get the Samsung, but you will not find a better display than the Asus VG23AH for under 300$.

Asus VG23AH is a great choice but i don't want to pay extra money for 3d which i don't need. It's in my list but for now i'm looking for non 3d within 250$.
