Has anyone tried this?

I think it looks beautiful on my 42" Vizio with basic glasses but it is really sluggish. I can't kill anyone at all its horrifying. My mouse seems less controllable on a 120hz display even before 3D. Anyone have any recommendations these issues? It feels very uncomfortable not having control of your mouse.

To my understanding, 120hz/ 240hz TV's are not true 120hz, they have interlaced frames, at least thats what I think they are called.

So you really have a 60hz tv that is playing at 30fps when in 3D mode which is most likely why it is sluggish. What cable are you connecting your computer to the TV with?

I play bf3 all the time in 3d. There is a bug though that makes your gpu only run low usage. The slugishness is proberly low fps or your running at 48hz.
You are using 3dtvplay to play on the telly in 3d right? So your playing at 720p? Also some tv's have massive input lag so it could be this 2.

that was one of my problems... I was in 1080p 3D @24 hz.... I changed it to 720 @ 60hz and now my windows is much more easier to browse around in... Still, I cant get into bf3 now with out my game locking up and 3D tweaking out... do I need to set BF3 in game resolution to 720p before turning on 3D on my tv?

IF your TV does not support 3d and is not 120hz it will not support 3d, that is all.

Your tv should auto detect the game is in 3d. Set the bf3 res to 720p, there is no need to set windows to 720p, you can leave that at 1080p.

I have another thread you are responding too about this... But yeah, It doesn't auto detect in 3D... also if I keep windows in 1080p 3D then the mouse is way slower...
